Steveさん、おはようございます。再来週の火曜日の私のオーストラリア出張についてですが、Steveさんにはチケットの手配やあちらでのミーティング等、たくさん頼んでいましたね。大変だと思いますが、その進捗はどうですか？

Good morning, Suzuki-san. Your business trip is on December 17, isn’t it? Yes, everything is under control. Here is your itinerary. I was actually going to give it to you this morning.

そうですか。それなら、今、簡単に何時の飛行機で出発し、帰りは何時の便かなど、準備状況を説明してくれますか。このあとの10時から始まる会議まで少し時間がありますので、ごく簡単にお願いします。

Sure. Your flight will leave at 9:00 p.m. from Haneda and will arrive at Sydney Airport the next morning. While you are staying in Sydney, you’ll meet the three prospective clients with whom you asked me to make an appointment.

例の三社に約束を取り付けてくれましたか。ありがとうございます。先の見本市にわが社の製品を出展した際、その三社は少なからずとも興味をもってくれました。ですから、大いに売り込んできますよ。

That’s good. By the way, would you like me to do some research on good restaurants in Sydney and make reservations? You might be far too busy once you get there and might not have time to arrange dinner in an impressive restaurant.
